Mark Bruce, a Fairport native, now resides in Rochester, New York and has spent the past 3 years working with both athletes and non-athletes to accomplish their fitness goals.

Mark attended Hobart and William Smith Colleges where he majored in Psychology and minored in Education, during which time he was a 4-year starter on the Hobart Basketball team. Additionally, Mark graduated from Brockport College with a MEd in School Counseling and in August of 2015 he obtained his personal training certification from ACE.

Although Mark has had a successful career in athletics, his passion for physical fitness was not developed until middle school, where he experienced many trials and tribulations due to being overweight. It was difficult for him to participate in not only school activities like gym, basketball and baseball practice, but even outdoor activities with friends was a struggle, having little energy and always being last. Transitioning from 6th-7th grade Mark took it upon himself to drop weight so he could enjoy the things he loved most. In just one summer, he managed to lose 30 pounds, going from 160-130 lbs. and it was then that Mark learned the importance of being active and eating healthy.

Mark has a genuine passion for health and wellness and has dedicated his young life to being as healthy as he can in order to be true to himself, and to always be there for his loved ones. As such, Mark has established himself in the community as the go-to trainer when a lifestyle change is desired.

Mark is hardworking, dedicated, passionate, and charismatic, traits which allow him to work with all types of individuals. He believes that with consistence, resistance, and persistence anyone can conquer all of their goals in life.
